Meadowbrook Christian School is hosting Camp Invention’s newest program, Fast Forward. Children entering kindergarten through 6th grade can experience real-world problem solving, creative thinking, invention, and teamwork – all while having FUN!
This year, campers will bring their “smart” home to life with smart furniture and eco-smart energy, design a robotic dog and diagnose puppy problems, explore sensors by designing tracks for an Optibot (a robot that senses dark and light surfaces), build Cake Catapults and more! Each camper will also get to take home their inventions at the end of the week – including their robotic dog and Optibot.
Meadowbrook’s own Sarah Kauffman & Lauren Rehm are facilitating the 4-day camp July 9-12. The camp will run from 8 AM to 4 PM each day and costs $225. (There is a $25 discount per child for siblings.)
Camp Invention is a nonprofit program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame designed to encourage children to become innovative thinkers and never give up.
