Junior Achievement of Central PA
Meadowbrook Christian School partners with Junior Achievement of Central PA to bring Professional Business Volunteer -led elementary school programs grades K5-5th grade to bring work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills into the classroom. The hands- on programs utilize experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and prepare for the “real world “of work.
MCS ANNUAL CEE EVENT (Career Expectations and Exploration)
This two-day event every spring gives Meadowbrook students in grades 7-12 an opportunity to begin to explore career options. The school brings in experts from a wide variety of fields into the school for short seminars with students. There are also workshops on interview skills, budgeting, and communication skills. Additionally, students take career assessment inventories, which give them ideas and directions as they begin to consider their future college and career options.
